This painting is inspired by Biblical heroes Shadrach, Meshach, & Abednego. It’s an abstract cartoon depiction of the scene from the book of Daniel when the 3 men were thrown into a furnace by King Nebuchadnezzar to be burned alive for refusing to worship the God of His people, but instead of being burned alive the 3 men were seen unharmed in the furnace with an angelic presence protecting them.

The red, orange, & yellow colors represent the fiery furnace, the black the smoke…and the gold represents the angelic presence sent by God that protected them from being burnt in the furnace.
